Unari Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the Unari mobile application and related services (the “App”). By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. What Unari is

Unari lets you create AI videos and images (e.g., text-to-video with audio on supported models, photo-to-video, headshots, background remover, photo restore, VFX over photo, and talking avatars). Unari does not include a public feed or user-to-user messaging. We may change, suspend, or remove features or models at any time, for example when third-party model providers update or deprecate endpoints.

2. Your account and eligibility

No login is required; the App associates usage with your device identifier. You must be 13+ (or the minimum age in your country). If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian. You are responsible for your device and for all activity in the App.

3. Your content and license to us

Inputs are the photos and videos you upload and the text prompts or scripts you provide. You retain ownership of your Inputs. Outputs are the AI-generated results the App returns to you. As between you and us, you own your Outputs, subject to these Terms and to any third-party rights that may apply (for example, if your Input contains someone else’s brand, face, or property). We do not guarantee exclusive rights in any Output. You grant Unari a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, and transmit Inputs and Outputs solely to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the App, including safety and abuse detection. Unless we clearly ask and you opt in, we do not use your Inputs or Outputs to train foundation models unrelated to providing the service to you.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use the App to create or share illegal content; exploit or endanger minors; dox, harass, threaten, or promote self-harm or real-world harm; generate explicit sexual content or nudity (including “undress/NSFW”) or graphic violence or gore; infringe others’ intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights (including impersonations or deepfakes without consent, celebrity likenesses or voices, or logos you do not own); violate platform rules when exporting; or reverse engineer, abuse rate limits, or attack the service. We may remove or disable content, throttle, or suspend access for suspected violations.

5. Safety filters and limitations

We use server- and model-side safety filters and keyword blocks. AI can be wrong, and Outputs may be inaccurate or offensive. You are responsible for reviewing Outputs before use and for obtaining any permissions needed to use a person’s image, voice, or property in your projects. No medical, legal, or financial advice.

6. Subscriptions, credits, and pricing

The App offers subscription tiers (Basic, Plus, Pro, Max) and a weekly downsell. Subscriptions are billed through Apple In-App Purchase and auto-renew until canceled in your Apple ID settings. Plans grant credits that are consumed per generation; different models or presets may use different credit amounts. Credits are not money, have no cash value, and may expire or change at our discretion. Promotional or free credits can be revoked if misused. Prices and credit costs may change; changes are shown in-app or via the App Store. Refunds are handled by Apple per App Store policies.

7. Third-party services and models

We rely on providers such as RevenueCat (subscriptions), AppsFlyer SKAdNetwork (attribution without IDFA), PostHog (analytics), Sentry (crash diagnostics), hosting and storage, and third-party AI models (for example, video models with audio). Availability and quality of Outputs may vary by provider. We may route requests across providers or versions.

8. Intellectual property and notices

If you believe content in the App infringes your rights, email support@unari.ai with your contact information, the work you claim is infringed, the specific content or Output at issue, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you are authorized to act. We honor valid takedown and counter-notice procedures.

9. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy describes what we collect and how we use it, including that we do not use IDFA or cross-app tracking. By using the App, you consent to the practices described there.

10. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate access immediately for violations, security risks, non-payment, fraud or abuse, or discontinuation of the App. Sections intended to survive (including licenses, disclaimers, and limits) will survive termination.

11. Disclaimers

THE APP AND ALL OUTPUTS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, UNARI AND ITS SUPPLIERS DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY OF OUTPUTS.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, UNARI AND ITS AFFILIATES AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO UNARI, IF ANY, IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

13. Indemnity

You will indemnify and hold harmless Unari from claims, damages, and costs, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your Inputs, Outputs, or use of the App in violation of these Terms or applicable law.

14. Apple App Store terms

You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Unari, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support. To the extent any warranties are required by law, Apple may refund the purchase price of the App, if any. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

15. Export and sanctions

You represent you are not located in, under the control of, or a national or resident of any embargoed country or on any denied-party list. You will not export or re-export the App in violation of law.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version and update the effective date. If changes are material, we will provide in-app notice. Continued use means you accept the changes.

17. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, excluding its conflicts of laws rules. Venue for any action will be the state or federal courts located in California, unless prohibited by law.
Optional arbitration and class-action waiver (remove if not desired): Any dispute will be resolved by binding arbitration administered by JAMS in California, on an individual basis with no class actions or class arbitration. You may opt out within 30 days by emailing support@unari.ai.
